Images of Our People
Gallery One - Photo Analysis Three
I see eight cowboys on horses. The cowboys are all wearing hats. In the background I see herds of cattle among the hills. I also see trees and grasslands in the background. Sunlight is shining on the cowboys, cattle, trees, and the land. The trees are casting shadows on the land. Some cattle are in the shade.SUBJECTIVE OBSERVATION (How do I interpret the photograph?) I believe that these Texas cowboys are herding the cattle together. They may be taking them to a stockyard to sell the cattle. The cowboys seem to have gathered together to pose for this photo. In addition, they may be taking a break from moving the cattle further. There are probably hundreds of heads of cattle in the background. MY QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS PHOTOGRAPH
