In contrast to the many photographs of college teams, the Chicago Daily News collection contains few images of professional football teams until the 1920s. Chicago's pro football team, the Chicago Bears, spent many days on the road (SDN-065796A) and played its home games at Cubs Park (later renamed Wrigley Field), which was better known as the home of Chicago's National League baseball team.
