Captain Pearl R. Nye: Life on the Ohio and Erie Canal


John Barton, American Folklife Center (AFC), developed the project plan and managed the production of Captain Pearl R. Nye: Life on the Ohio and Erie Canal.

Domenico Sergi, Ronnie Hawkins, and Lisa Cope coordinated the digital image production at the Library’s Information Technology Services (ITS) Scan Center. The audio was digitized by Cutting Corp., Bethesda, Maryland.

Barak Stussman, ITS, was responsible for programming the indexing and display of documents. Christa Maher and Laura Graham, Office of Strategic Initiatives (OSI), provided database support. Colleen Byrne Wallace, Web Services, OSI, was responsible for designing and creating the Web pages.
