The Library holds a substantial array of Latino publications for both the general public and scholars. Current issues can
be consulted in the Newspaper and Current Periodical Reading Room, but back issues are usually found bound in the General
Collections. Nuestro: The Magazine for Latinos (E184.S75 N83 GenColl), La Luz (E184.S75 L88 GenColl), LATINA Style (E184.S75 L39 GenColl), La Herencia del Norte, Hispanic Business (HF3000.H57 GenColl), and Hispanic Review of Business (HD2346.U5 H57 GenColl) all contain articles that reflect Latinas' interests in themselves and in their quest for a better
life. You will find in the Library's collections an excellent group of journals, including, to list just a few,
Linden Lane ([o] 87/723 MicRR)
El Fortín de la Trocha (E184.C77 F67 GenColl)
Revista Chicano-Riqueña (PS508.M4 R47 GenColl)
De Colores: Journal of Chicano Expression and Thought (PS508.M4 D4 GenColl)

La Palabra: Revista de Literatura Chicana (1979-85; PQ7070.A27a GenColl)
For researchers seeking to track women's issues and their impact through the years, a good source is the wide range of newsletters
issued by Hispanic American volunteer organizations. Many are found in the Chicano Studies Library Serial Collection (uncataloged),
a group of periodicals of all sorts dating from 1855, available on 426 reels of microfilm. The Library also holds various
newsletters, ranging from Legislative Update (KF4757.5 .L38 L34 Law), prepared by the National Council of La Raza, to Somos Primos (see Area Studies External Sites), the organ of the Society of Hispanic Historical and Ancestral Research.
